We are excited to announce the appointment of Lounanjio Brown O’Sullivan as ACCHO’s new Interim Director. Lounanjio will step into leading ACCHO as of today, December 5, 2022, and will bring more than 15 years of human resources management and project management experience.
Lounanjio comes to ACCHO from the Committee for Accessible AIDS Treatment (CAAT) where he was the Interim Director. He has been involved in numerous not-for-profit projects and organizations in various capacities both in Canada and Jamaica. He also has private sector experience, including in health insurance. He has a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Humber College.
Lounanjio has been passionately involved in creating and delivering best practices and services to enhance the responsiveness of organizations and better the lives of people living with and affected by HIV. He was an active volunteer at the Jamaican Red Cross and the University of the West Indies (Jamaica). After migrating to Canada, he served on the Board of Directors for the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention (Black CAP).
Lounanjio is a strategic thinker, collaborator, and leader. His approachable and engaging style combined with his skills and experience makes him a welcomed addition to ACCHO. He is excited to join the ACCHO team and continue his involvement in the HIV sector in Ontario. Please join us in welcoming Lounanjio.
